Our cosy wooden lodges give the best of both worlds with it's natural sitaution in a secluded valley above the banks of the River Ericht, enjoy the peace and tranquility, knowing that if you want to spoil yourselves with a delicious meal or just a pick up a pint of milk, it's all just a short walk away.
You will be sure of a warm welcome from the Kay and family who live on site and are available to help with any aspect of your well derserve getaway to Blairgowrie, hopefully making it a holiday to remember. We welcome dogs as we believe that a family holiday should always be possible with that VIP!
Our quirky A frame lodges, make excellent all year round accommodation, sleeping up to 4 people. Each one has 2 bedrooms and an open plan living/kitchen/dining area, we have lots more detail on our website on our facilities and how you can find the perfect lodge to suit your family and friends. Relax outdoors on the verandas and listen to the Ericht tumble down to the town.
We have a small play park for younger children and plenty of space to run around. We have a travel cot and high chair available to hire.
Blairgowrie and its sister town Rattray share a fantastic riverside setting. The River Ericht is a major tributary of the Tay and is considered to have outstanding salmon fishing. Blairgowrie has a swimming and leisure centre, excellent local shops, lovely restaurants, supermarkets and garages.
We are ideally situated for golfing, fishing, walking, touring and of course relaxing. There are 4 golf courses within 10 minutes and at least 30 courses within 35 miles. Blairgowrie boasts the starting point of the Cateran Trail, a circular long distance marked walk which will take you through some of Perthshire's finest scenery. The town also has a set of Waymarked walks offering the chance to leave the car behind and enjoy the beauty and diversity of our rural location.
Our situation in East Perthshire also gives us the ideal base not only for exploring Perthshire but also our close neighbours in Angus, Deeside and Fife. The beautiful Angus Glens, Glamis Castle, Balmoral and St. Andrews are all just a short drive across the border!

From Perth take the A93 to Blairgowrie, go through the centre of town (Wellmeadow), turn left at the traffic lights, cross the river, go up the hill and turn left (Balmoral Road), following signs for A93 Braemar. We are approx 0.75 mile up the Balmoral Road on the left almost opposite Rosebank Guest House
From Dundee take the A923 to Coupar Angus then Blairgowrie, go through the centre of town (Wellmeadow) go straight on at traffic lights, cross the river, go up the hill and turn left (Balmoral Road), following signs for A93 Braemar. We are approx 0.75 mile up the Balmoral Road on the left almost opposite Rosebank Guest House
From Aberdeen at Forfar take A926 to Kirriemuir then Blairgowrie, turn right at post box ( Balmoral Road ) following signs for A93 Braemar. We are approx 0.75 mile up the Balmoral Road on the left almost opposite Rosebank Guest House
By Bus from the bus stance in Wellmeadow. follow A93 route over bridge and left into Balmoral Road. The Lodges are approximately 0.75 mile along this road on the left. Take a taxi from the taxi rank at the bus stance if prefrerred
Getting there by railway:- From Perth Railway Station cross main road to bus depot and take bus to Dundee via Blairgowrie.
Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport take the M90 North to Perth and then follow A93 North to Blairgowrie (signposted Braemar).
Getting there by ferry:- From all ports head for M6 motorway heading for Glasgow and take the M90 North to Perth and then follow A93 North to Blairgowrie (signposted Braemar).
