Eat walk St Andrews food tour
The St Andrews food tour visits five locations tasting locally sourced Scottish food with three of the stops also having drink tastings. As you walk through the town your local guide will talk about the history of the area.
The Eat walk Tour is a food walking tour exploring the main areas of St Andrews. From the Old Course at one end to the ruins of the Cathedral at the other while stopping off at restaurants and bars for locally sourced Scottish food and drink tastings. The tour last 3-3.5 hours visiting five venues for food and drink tastings. Your local guide will not only talk about the history of the area as the group walks between venues but will also point out other places to visit after the tour is over.
The maximum number we take on our regular tours that run at 1pm and 5pm are 8, but even if only 2 or 3 people are booked the tour will still go ahead.
Those on the tour are given audio headsets to listen to the guide while walking at their own pace or wandering off to take photos. We also give out maps at the end of the tour showing the places we have visited and many offer discounts should people have time to return.
With prior notice we can offer suitable dietary alternatives, we even have vegetarian haggis.
Details on tour meeting point are sent out at time of booking and are subject to change.
