Spectacular views to the Bass Rock and Firth of Forth greet all visitors to Tantallon Caravan and Camping Park. With many golf courses in the area – Glen Golf Course is adjacent to the park – Tantallon Castle and the Seabird Centre there is plenty for all the family.
Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city is a short drive away or a mere 30 minutes by train. Later trains are available during the Edinburgh Festival. Tantallon accommodates touring caravans, motorhomes, tents and has 10 holiday homes for hire and 4 wooden wigwams. The modern facilities include fabulous toilet blocks with free showers, chemical disposal points, fully equipped laundry and kitchen facilities. There is also a games room and pitch and putt with confectionary, drinks and caravan accessories available from reception. Our Thistle award holiday homes sleep up to 6 to 8 people in 2 or 3 bedrooms and all linen and towels are provided for your party. They also have flat screen TV’s, DVD players and Freeview together with a fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer and microwave. An easy access holiday home is also available for wheelchair assisted guests (Cat 2 accessible). Enjoy the benefits of glamping at Tantallon in our fully insulated wigwams with controllable heating. All wigwams have a colour TV, refrigerator and microwave although you will need to bring your own sleeping bags, linen and towels. A full kitchen with cooking facilities are available close by together with refurbished shower blocks. From the South exit the A1 at Thistley Cross roundabout onto the A1087 and follow the signs for North Berwick. Turn first right onto the A198 and follow the road, the park is 1 mile past Tantallon Castle.
From the North exit the A1 onto the A198 and follow the signs for North Berwick, the Park is located through the town heading back towards Dunbar.
From the nearest information centre:- From North Berwick Tourist Information Centre take the Dunbar bus which passes the park entrance.
Getting there by railway:- From North Berwick station take the Dunbar bus which passes the park entrance.
Getting there by ferry:- From Rosyth follow signs to Edinburgh then join the A720 city bypass to A1 South bound then follow A198 through North Berwick.
