Lochranza Campsite is a small, friendly campsite for travellers who appreciate nature and enjoy the great outdoors. We offer simple, clean and efficient facilities and a beautiful base camp from which you can enjoy exploring Arran.
At Lochranza Campsite, we offer a beautiful and peaceful base at the North End of Arran if you are travelling in a motorhome or with a caravan or a tent. The campsite is a small, level, grass site with 9 hard standing pitches and 30 electric hook-ups. We also have three wooden heated camping pods available to hire. Dogs are welcome.
Our facilities include clean, heated washrooms with hot showers, a small launderette with a drying cupboard for outdoor clothes and boots, and a campers' room with local information.
Lochranza Campsite is a quiet site adjacent to Lochranza Golf Course. If you stay at Lochranza Campsite, you can benefit from reduced green fees to play golf or pitch and putt. Families and novices are welcome to play. We have golf equipment available for hire. Wild red deer roam the fairways and golden eagles hunt the surrounding mountain-sides.
You will find the Stags Pavilion Restaurant next door to the campsite and the Isle of Arran Distillery across the road. The nearest grocery store is six miles west of Lochranza at Pirnmill.
A variety of walking routes begin at the campsite enabling you to explore the coast and the hills.
Lochranza is 14 miles from Brodick and can be reached by bus. A small ferry operates daily throughout the summer season from Lochranza to Claonaig on Kintyre.
