Explore miles of beautiful countryside in the Cairngorms National Park on the back of one of the well schooled and experienced Alvie Stables horses.

Situated between Aviemore and Kincraig, Alvie Stables has plenty to offer the beginner rider up to the most experienced jockey. With half hour mini-rides for young children to two hour experienced hacks, there really is a horse for every occasion. Based at the Alvie Estate, there are a variety of other activities to keep the family entertained and plenty of space to roam. Alvie staff are friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have while out and about.

New for 2023 - we can offer you the change to meet and greet, cuddle, groom and feed our 2 minature donkeys Joey and Alfie. Only £5 per family.

30 minute Mini Rides 3 years plus: £25 per ticket
45 minute novice, semi-novice and experienced rides: £30 per ticket
