Stewart Brewing quickly established itself as one of Scotland’s most successful and reputable breweries. Over the years, we have continued to innovate and develop, whilst upholding the traditional ethos of Edinburgh’s rich brewing history.
Having moved in to a brand new brewery in 2013, or rather a custom built stainless steel cathedral to the patron saint of beer, the Stewart Brewing team have created a number of experiences for you; the discernible beer drinkers. Brewery Tours
Every Friday at 7pm. Early booking recommended. Prices include an extensive tour of the brewery from start to finish, or rather from the recipe development kit to the bottling line, as well as, snacks, beer sampling and a complimentary glass. Tours cost £15 per person.
Saturday walk-in tours run every hour from 10am - 4pm. No booking required. £10 per person which includes 2 beers and a tour of the brewery.

Craft Beer Kitchen
Where you brew the beer! Be a brewer for the day; choose your recipe and brew your beer whilst sampling some others. Return in three weeks to bottle your creation and to apply your personalised labels. Prices include top notch tuition, labels, finest brewing ingredients and an unforgettable Craft Beer Kitchen experience. Open 7 days a week, from 10am - 6pm.

Brewery Shop & Taproom
The Brewery Tap, situated in the heart of the brewery, offers 18 draught beers; from Stewart Brewing regulars to guest taps. Watch our team of skilled brewers brew the beer while you drink it! Take beer away with you in a refillable growler; try before you buy and first fill half price!
The Brewery Shop stocks a full range of bottles, cans, mini casks, merchandise and gift options as well as operating a keg and cask hire service for the larger party. Open 7 days: Sunday – Thursday: 10am - 6pm, Friday & Saturday: 10am – 7pm.
Getting here
We are based 7 miles south from Edinburgh city centre, just off the City of Edinburgh Bypass and within easy reach by car, taxi or public transport. Service number 37 from Princes Street towards Penicuik takes 45 minutes to get to Herd Terrace stop and we are a short walk away from there.
