The Clydeside Distillery is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky distillery, visitor experience and specialist whisky shop in the heart of Glasgow; Glasgow’s first dedicated Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery for over 100 years. Please note that The Clydeside Café is currently closed for refurbishment, reopening Spring 2025
THE CLYDESIDE TOUR

A tour of three parts and three drams...
Our Dockside Story is the first, self-guided part of the tour. Wander around and discover fascinating tales about the birth of the whisky industry and Glasgow’s history, featuring live footage and animation bringing history to life.
Next, our expert guide will show you around The Clydeside Distillery itself. Meet our lively craftsmen as they handcraft pure new make spirit using traditional methods and time-honoured skills. Enjoy the spectacular view over the Clyde from our gleaming contemporary Still House.
Finally, in our sleek Tasting Room, experience for yourself how we are handcrafting a fine Single Malt Whisky with a tasting of three wee drams.

EVENING EVENTS
Host your event or celebration at The Clydeside Distillery and enjoy the most distinctive of all new Glasgow venues. We offer private dining for 30-50 and receptions for 100-150 from 7-11pm.
As the sun sets over the Queen's Dock and our stunning lighting takes over, the conversation will flow in the laid-back atmosphere… the unique character of our event venue will ensure plenty of talking points.
Guests can enjoy an exclusive evening with whisky cocktails on arrival, delicious freshly prepared menus – celebrating the best Scottish produce, specially selected wines, time to explore the unique visitor experience with the Glasgow Whisky Story and informal distillery tours.

TRANSPORT
By car: Visitors can park outside the distillery free of charge. For satnav our postcode is G3 8QQ.
To get here from the M8, take junction 19 and drive west along the Clydeside Expressway (A814) for about one mile. Turn right onto Stobcross Street/A814 and take the A814 exit to Clydebank/SEC. Use the left lane towards B808/Partick/Glasgow Harbour. Turn sharp left onto Stobcross Road.
On foot: We’re 40 minutes from the city centre alongside the River Clyde, between the SEC and the Riverside Museum.
Subway: From Partick Subway Station, it’s a 20-minute walk via Beith Street. Plan your journey by Subway
Train: From the Exhibition Train Station, it’s a 10-minute walk. Follow signs for the SEC and we’re just a few minutes further along. From Partick (for mainline trains), it’s a 20-minute walk. Follow the instructions above! Plan your journey by Train.
By plane: The Clydeside Distillery is approximately 15 minutes drive from Glasgow Airport or 50 minutes from Edinburgh Airport.
