What we offer
Perthshire Treks provides fantastic guided walking adventures, off the beaten track, in Perthshire and elsewhere in the Scottish Highlands.
Our focus, as qualified mountain leaders and first aiders, is on your safety, but we're also here to help you enjoy, explore and learn about Scotland's brilliant nature and landscapes and world-class access rights.
Our guided walking adventures are private and designed around you and your needs: tell us what you'd like to do and we'll provide you with a unique walking adventure in Highland Perthshire. These could range from scenic and fascinating walks around Pitlochry, above the village of Weem and between Blair Atholl and Pitlochry to the big hills and mountains such as Ben Lawers, Schiehallion and Beinn a'Ghlo. Or we can provide a walking adventure elsewhere in the Scottish Highlands. You can find inspiration for your guided walking adventure, and easily book it, on our website.
If you've only got a few hours and you'd like to explore the fantastic countryside around Pitlochry, we can take you out on a half-day walking adventure. We offer a lovely "walk through time" around Pitlochry and a fantastic walk up Craig Fonvuick and through the stunning Pass of Killiecrankie.
Why choose Perthshire Treks?
So why should you choose Perthshire Treks for your next walking adventure?
We put your safety first and we have loads of experience - we've completed the Munro's and have Summer Mountain Leader and emergency first aid qualifications.
During a guided walk, we'll tell you about the area, what you're seeing and pass on some advice about walking in the outdoors and looking after the outdoors.
Before setting up Perthshire Treks, we worked in the environmental sector and this underpins our focus on delivering our guided walks in an environmentally sustainable way.
Why Highland Perthshire?
We can provide guided walking adventures anywhere in the Scottish Highlands, but we're based in the lovely Highland Perthshire town of Pitlochry. We might be biased, but we think Perthshire offers fantastic walking opportunities - from beautiful walks in the glens to great hills and mountains. Pitlochry is easy to get to - there are frequent train services from Glasgow and Edinburgh, and there is a daily service from London as well as the overnight sleeper service. The town is also on the intercity bus route between Glasgow/Edinburgh and Inverness. Road connections are excellent.
