Ballantrae is a friendly Scottish village - it has a pub, a garage, bank, two public tennis courts, childrens playground, putting green, three cafes and a shop which is open every day of the week. It is 12 miles south of Girvan and 17 miles from Stranraer in South Ayrshire, South West Scotland.
There are wonderful walks from right outside Harbour Green. The Ayrshire Coastal path passes in front of the area and the four mile beach is at the doorstep. Other activities available locally include wonderful golf courses, fishing on the River Stinchar, hill walking, exploring hill villages and the Galloway Forest Park, wonderful west coast gardens to visit, trips to Culzean Castle, Dumfries House, Glasgow, Ayr & the Robbie Burns Museum, Belfast (the ferry terminal is only 10 miles away) boat trips to Ailsa Craig and much more.

This is a stone cottage originally a fisherman's bothy - it has been beautifully restored and modernised to provide romantic accommodation for a couple.
Ground Floor: Entrance Hall with utility area and room for coats and wellies, washing machine and cloakroom with wc and wash hand basin. A large living room with wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen and dining areas looking out over the coast. Upstairs: Bedroom & ensuite shower room - It has a king size bed - with a sea view - and a large shower room with basin, wc and double shower.
