At Culloden Battlefield and Visitor Centre you’ll not only walk the field where the last battle on British soil took place, which has been restored to how it would have looked in 1746, but you’ll see the story of Culloden brought to life. With daily living history presentations and an immersive battle theatre you’ll feel like you’re right in the heart of the action as the Jacobite forces take on the government for the final time. Clava Cairns, a 4,000 year old cemetery, is also located in Culloden Moor. It’s home to ancient burial monuments and the remains of a medieval chapel.
