Enjoy an unrivalled view of the nest at Loch Garten Osprey Centre in Abernethy where ospreys return to breed each spring. Get a close-up look via live cameras and take a stroll along the signed paths, keeping an eye out for red squirrels, dragonflies and crested tits. In early spring you can also watch the spectacular display of the capercaillie, Scotland’s largest grouse.
During autumn and winter you’ll spot greylag and pink-footed geese and perhaps red and roe deer. The trails are open year-round at Loch Garten and the centre is open from early April to late October.
