Famous for its vast colonies of nearly 100,000 seabirds Handa Island reserve is the perfect place to absorb yourself in the raw beauty of Scotland. The island is only accessible by boat from Tarbet (from April till September) and offers a fantastic day out amongst nature.
Look out for puffins, guillemots, razorbills and great skuas and enjoy the panoramic sea views from the magnificent Torridonian sandstone cliffs. You might even glimpse dolphins, minke whales and basking sharks offshore.
