Drummond Castle Gardens

Perthshire Tourist Route

Stop for a visit at one of Scotland’s finest formal gardens. Drummond Castle Gardens were established in 1490 and the formal gardens were first laid out in the 1630s, with an Italian style parterre added in 1830. Take a relaxing stroll around the gardens and look out for the ancient yew hedges, the beautiful copper beech trees planted by Queen Victoria in 1842 and the intriguing sundial, which was installed in 1630 and designed by John Mylne, Master Mason to Charles I.
