    Dunkeld

    Atholl Memorial Fountain in Dunkeld

Perched on the banks of the River Tay, Dunkeld is a picturesque village that features brightly coloured 'little houses' which date back to the early 1700s and a majestic - partly ruined - cathedral. It's also the perfect starting point for venturing out into the Perthshire wilderness and exploring nearby attractions including The Hermitage, a forested grove overlooking the Black Linn waterfall, and Loch of the Lowes.
